Tokyo Zombie defies expectations by combining the zombie movie with a far less celebrated genre: the wrestling comedy. Tadanobu Asano and Sho Aikawa play a pair of jiu-jitsu-obsessed factory workers who somehow survive a zombie plague despite the fact they are utter boneheads. Frequently hilarious, Tokyo Zombie contains a rich bounty of slapstick gags and deadpan humour. (Or should that read undeadpan humour? Somebody stop me.)
